What is DoubleX?
The infrastructure your own AI uses to build and publish dashboards: your data in one place, a database, the app online with its own address and sign-in, and versions you can undo. You ask your AI in your own words, and it does the work on DoubleX. DoubleX does not provide the AI: you use yours.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You talk to your AI and it does the technical part. Developers can also use Claude Code, Cursor and the terminal, but that is optional.
Which AIs work with DoubleX?
Any AI that accepts remote connectors with sign-in (the standard is called MCP). We've verified the steps for Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app). ChatGPT (developer mode, paid plans), Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and others follow the same standard and are still in testing with our sign-in. For developers: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot in VS Code, Gemini CLI and Codex.
How do I connect my AI?
In your AI's settings, add a custom connector named DoubleX, paste the address shown on your Home page and sign in with the same account you use here. Home has the step by step for Claude, ChatGPT and other AIs.
How do I know the connection works?
Ask your AI: “Use DoubleX and tell me who I am.” If it answers with your organization and plan, you're connected. If it says it can't reach DoubleX, try again in a minute.
Where do the numbers come from?
From your own data. Every answer shows where the number came from and how it was calculated, so you can check it. If your data doesn't have the answer, your AI says so instead of guessing.
Who can see my dashboard?
Only the people you let in: the app has its own sign-in. To add someone, ask your AI: “Invite ana@example.com to my dashboard.”
Is my data safe?
Each account is kept apart from every other customer, passwords and keys go to a vault (never to files), and your data stays in the region you chose when creating the project.
How much does it cost?
Starting DoubleX is free, with no credit card; the Plan page shows the paid options. Your AI is yours and so is its cost: the subscription you already have (Claude, ChatGPT…), and, if your published app answers questions with AI, the AI provider key you bring and pay for. DoubleX does not sell or pay for AI.
Something went wrong. What now?
Ask your AI to read the logs and explain what happened in simple words. You can always ask it to go back to the previous version.
